Projected finish

I thought this was pretty interesting. Real Time RPI has done some adding to their site, one of which is this 'GAMER Projections'. Recently they've have used this just to do a short scouting report, and to project the probable scores. They now have taken this same GAMER thing a bit further, and actually projected the results for the rest of the season. Below is the GAMER projection for UK for the rest of the regular season.

With the way we've been currently playing I think that that these projection are more than likely going to be true. thoughts?

  02-21   Tennessee  16-9 (7-4)22 77-75 W - Scouting
  02-25  at South Carolina  18-6 (7-4)46 75-82 L - Scouting
  02-28   LSU  22-4 (10-1)38 74-72 W - Scouting
  03-04   Georgia  10-16 (1-10)206 83-62 W - Scouting
  03-07  at Florida  20-6 (7-4)44 69-81 L - Scouting

GAMER Projected Record: 21-10 (10-6)

No KG!!!????!!!

Well, we won, so I guess we can't complain too much.. But not only did KG not start (none of us thought he would) but he didnt even get any quality minutes..

IMO this is a complete joke.. I dont know if there is something going on behind the scenese.. But I am sick of this shit.. We have a perfectly good, capable PG riding the bench while we watch Porter and Liggins fumble around and fuck up all day..

Harris had a decent game, he still cant shoot or dribble..

Miller played pretty well, hit some shots and played pretty good D..

But the fact of the matter is we needed a ball handler, and some more size, 2 obvious needs that he helps with and KG just rode the bench..

Cant go on it..

No Patrick, ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!?!?!?

What would make John Pelphrey freak out like this??

Well, prolly not having your star point guard when you have UK coming to town.. Especially after UK just bounced back from their 3 game skid with a solid (according to everyone except Shane) win over conference rival Florida..

Although, if it were up to me, I'd rather let them have Fortson and we get to play PPatt.. I think us losing PPatt is a bigger hit than any team we play or have played losing a player.. He means that much to this team..

The news, however, is not good news.. It looks as if we will not have Patterson tomorrow, and possibly not for Vandy either.. This means 2 things to me,

1) We will have to depend on Jodie Meeks heroics once again (more than usual)

2) We will have a different starting lineup and probably a completely different gameplan without the big guy..

So I ask you fellow bloggers, who do you think should start and who do you think will start??

I think BCG will start :

Porter
Harris
Meeks
Harrelson
Stevenson..

I think he should start
Galloway
Miller
Meeks
Harrelson
Stevenson..

With no PPatt we are going to get killed on the boards if he plays the first lineup.. Galloway and Miller are extremely long and athletic and are way better rebounders than the other 2.. They are also more comfortable with the ball and would cause less TO's.. We can also get out and run with these 2 slashers in the game.. Unlike Porter and Harris, they have proven to be able to finish around the basket and in the paint..

But alas, we are stuck with BCG starting who ever the F he wants, prolly to prove to us that he can..

Now, maybe I'll get some work done and quit lolligagging around..

VICTORY!!!

Well, one of the guys in the picture above was a big reason we won the game tonight, can you guess which one it was? hint: it wasn't that homo #5

I was truly impressed with the way our "Team" played tonight. For the first time all season it looked like everyone on the court was aggressive for us and not just waiting around for Meeks and Patterson to do something. Galloway wasn't hesitant at all (that dunk was awesome!), Harrellson stepped up BIG TIME when Patterson went down, and Porter took the shots that were given to him, and more importantly he made those shots. Our defense was tremendous all game with the exception of how we handled Calathes, but, that's just one of those things, he's a really good player and sometimes those guys are going to go off like that (wasn't no 54 though....itch). Still wondering about Miller, he passed on a 3 late in that game, and I almost punched my TV! When will he get some confidence? I know he's been building up some as of late, but he's still hesitant when he's wide open like that...I don't get it. All in all though I really, really liked what happened out there on the court tonight, and I really hope we can build up some uncle moe going into March.

Let's all say a prayer for Patterson tonight. That guy is such a workhorse for us every single game; whether we're down by 20, or up by 20 that guy always gives everything he can. Let us all hope that it's nothing serious, and he can rejoin the team as soon as possible.
